Family adventures, lovely moments

Our family took a trip to a cozy cottage by the lake. The outdoor seating on the front porch was perfect for enjoying the sunset after a long day. And let me tell you, the kitchen was well equipped, even had a dishwasher, made cleaning up after meals easy.

It wasn't inexpensive, but for the experience, it was worth it.

I really enjoyed staying in this property and its stunning and great location.

The staff and the host were all friendly.

Deluxe hotel with lake views over the lake and affable and absolutely excellent staff. Iron and ironing board, a work desk, and tea/coffee making equipment available in the deluxe queen suite. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. The location excellent and amazing to Cape Breton highlands hikes. And just next door to the bay, Grocery store, Liquor store and Farmers Daughter market, and Farmers Daughter market.

Beds were uncomfortable.

The one-bedroom suite was super comfy! It had three beds, perfect for our family, and the balcony view was amazing. Everything was super clean, and we loved the little details like the Keurig coffee machine and even YouTube premium. After a long drive, it was a nice spot to relax and enjoy some BBQ. The whole setup made for a really comfortable night.

great stay but minor check-in delay

The cabin was sparkling clean and equipped with a full kitchen. The outdoor seating offered fine views of the lake, made mornings good. Our host was cute, even during our late arrival time.

We encountered a slight delay during check-in that could have been smoother.

I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy escape with family-friendly amenities like a fully equipped kitchen and great views.

The deluxe suite had an incredible spa bath and a stunning lake view from the balcony that took my breath away. I loved the cozy sun terrace and the peaceful garden area to unwind after a long day. The only downside was realizing I had to leave the next morning! Just make sure to soak in that jacuzzi while you can! 😊

The location near Bras d'Or Lake offers amazing views, and the cottages were well-equipped and clean. The mattress felt quite worn out and the service upon arrival lacked warmth and clarity. It was a pleasant experience despite those minor drawbacks.

Amazing views and perfect for dog lovers

The grounds allowed my dog to run free. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I did wish the kitchen had more utensils for meal preparation.
